The Shri Ram Mandir at Parner lies in a 250 year old fortified complex which is under the custodianship of Sardar Phadnis Ram Mandir Trust. The complex has an austere Maratha style temple with tall fortification walls, several niches, a fountain, a stepwell and two residential blocks. Studio Gestalt is carrying out holistic conservation of this temple complex as Heritage Consultants. Additionally, they are also assisting the trust and the local gaurdians with the management, finances and legalities of the site. Several experts, specialists and villagers are involved in this inclusive and dynamic process.
