The Shiv Shambho painting is a watercolour on paper which had suffered some water damage. The scene depicted was a perspective view of the set of the play, “Shiv Shambho” that had been rendered on paper by the artist V.V. Divkar. The unsightly water marks and splatters were carefully removed using non invasive conservation techniques and restored based on evidence.
