In the previous century owning or collecting books of English Literature, World History, Politics & Administration, etc was a time-consuming and costly affair. As a result only families of nobility or aristocracy could create and maintain book collections. With time, such collections have become rare and valuable. This is one such collection put together by the illustrious Raja Rairayan Bahadur Amantvant family in the previous century. More than 16,000 rare books along with its furniture were donated to the Osamania University & Marathwada University. However a few books remained with descendents of the family. Studio Gestalt documented, inventorized, carried out valuation and sale of this collection as a consultant.
