As a scope of work in the historic interiors project of the Thalassemia Centre at St. George Hospital, Mumbai we had to design and customize chairs for patients undergoing blood tranfusion at this centre. The design and materials had to ensure that the long and painful sessions could be made tolerable or even comfortable. We colalbrated with Vipin Joe of Chacko and created such seating along with detachable footrest and headrests.
